The serious home exhibition for the North West
The Northern Home Show is a new, cost-effective consumer show that will put suppliers of the complete range of home improvement, self-build and garden products, systems and services face-to-face with homeowners looking to build, improve and add value to their homes to be held on 15/17 June 2012 at Event City, The Trafford Centre, Manchester. The event is being organized by Richard Milbourn was Event Director of the National Home Improvement Show launched at Earls Court in 2009 and was the founder of the Kitchen & Bathroom Show launched at Sandown Park in 2008.
Milbourn says that the Northern Home Show will not only fill the home show void by being located in a venue easily accessible from across the North West of the UK but, of utmost importance, it will attract serious buyers of home improvement products and services. In the current market conditions, homeowners are looking to ‘improve, not move’ and the Northern Home Show will display hundreds of products, inspirations and ideas for the home and garden – all in one accessible, one-stop-shop to over 6,000 visitors.
Exhibitors at the Northern Home Show will feature the latest products, systems, and services utilised in the home and cover all aspects of home improvement, renovation, self-build, interiors, energy efficiency, and gardens. Everything the homeowner needs to make his dream house a reality but none of the food and shopping that would attract visitors looking for a ‘day out’. Related seminars will feature experts and exhibitors detailing how the homeowner can gain knowledge to tackle their projects with confidence.
The Northern Home Show will be held at Manchester’s newest exhibition and event center located at The Trafford Centre, Britain’s most successful shopping and leisure destination with an annual footfall of over 30 million visits. Event City is only 30 seconds drive from the M60 and benefits from 12,000 free parking spaces, 60 restaurants and bars on the doorstep and 4 hotels within a mile’s radius.

Event City opened as a new events venue in March 2011 and is the second largest exhibition center outside London and situated about 5 miles from Manchester City Centre. The Trafford Centre is the UK’s biggest and busiest shopping center with footfalls in excess of 720,000 a week. There are excellent links with public transport including a shuttle bus from Manchester’s Metro link, its own bus station, Manchester Airport is 10 minutes away and above all its next to the M60.

Founder members of the Northern Home Show will benefit from an early bird discount of 20 percent if stands are booked by 30 June 2011 reducing the space cost to £200 per sqm and shell scheme to £235 per sqm.
